The 2010 edition of the Rockingham County Officials Association will hold its organizational meeting Tuesday, March 16, from 6:30 until 8 p.m. in the lower level of the Reidsville Public Library on Morehead Street.

     Anyone 18 years of age with the desire and willingness to officiate recreational baseball and/or girls softball are urged to attend. The training includes classroom and on the field classes (scrimmages). College and varsity high school officials are available in the teaching capacity.

     Classes will be on Tuesday and Thursday at the same time and location. Classes will run 4-5 weeks or as required.      Officials are assigned as per their experience and availability.

     Anyone interested should plan to attend and be on time. Coaches are also welcome and are encouraged to attend.
